If we substitute the Newton meters from the second equation into the first.
We get an equation to give watts just from the speed of the engine, Radians per second

…………..….. Watts = Rs (a x Rs + b)
or

Watts = a x Rs2 + b x Rs

We know the engine speed when it is at the power peak
so,
……………....Peak power = a * Peak Rs2 + b * Peak Rs
…………...………...……….= – 0.051 x 59.58 2 + 6.078 x 59.58
……………………………...= – 181.04 + 362.13
………………………….…..= 181.1 Watts

181 Watts at 569 RPM fits well with our power curve charted data.

And there was no need for seven sets of readings – just three.
